Members: Volunteers

Volunteers and interns contribute greatly to the success of Safe Kids Sonoma County. If you are interested in helping keep the children of Sonoma County safe, you have come to the right place.

Executive Board and Action Teams

Safe Kids is governed by an Executive Board made up of professionals and people from the community. We are currently looking for Board members. In addition, you can help us by participating on an action one of our three action teams: Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety, Child Passenger Safety, and Home Safety. We are always looking for good people to help us in our mission.

Special Events

Safe Kids Sonoma County sponsors many events during each year, all focused on raising awareness of safety issues for children. Whether you are passing out information at a Bike Rodeo or helping someone to install a car seat correctly, you are sure to find a fulfilling way to participate. We provide training and certification programs for car seat technicians.

Office Help

We can always use help in the office. If you can donate a few hours a week for administrative duties or have experience with the Web, please let us know.

Other ways

If you have a special talent or skill that you think would benefit Safe Kids, just let us know. We’ll match you with the volunteer activity that best suits your talents.
