Programs: Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety >> Bike RodeoHerb Greenberg Bicycle RodeoA Bike Rodeo can be a perfect opportunity for children to learn about how to safely ride a bike on the road. Bicycles are vehicles on the road and must follow the same rules as other vehicles, such as riding on the right side of the street with traffic. Schools, after-school programs, or other community organizations can apply to borrow the rodeo kit materials. These include the contents to set up the skills course, a manual, safety videos, and a bicycle driver license photo ID kit. Children participating in the rodeo go through a series of stations to ensure that they can safely ride their bicycle.
